Moulin-à-vent Rochegrès

It is the king of Beaujolais and the wine with the best aging potential. The terroir of Rochegrès gives this cuvée the great finesse, balance and power. Has some Pinot Noir notes with a few years of aging.

Colour

Deep ruby with purple highlights.

Nose

Fresh, spicy and mineral with aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, strawberry) then notes of black fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant).

Mouth feel

Fleshy and fine. A straightforward, pure and balanced wine with a round and velvety texture. The finish is long and persistent with good aromatic complexity.

Food and wine pairings

This wine goes well with many dishes: red meats, meats in sauce, duck and game (wild boar).
