Robert Parker Wine Advocate

« A bit more reserved out of the gate than its Fleurie counterpart, Chermette's 2019 Moulin-à-Vent Rochegrès exhibits aromas of plums, cherries, baking chocolate and spices. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly muscular and concentrated, it's built around lively acids and powdery tannins. This will reward a bit of bottle age. »
GILBERT & GAILLARD

90/100

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

93+/100

« The 2018 Moulin-à-Vent Rochegrès was matured in one foudre, two stainless steel tanks and one barrel—the latter representing a mere 5% of the total volume. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of ripe dark fruits, baking chocolate and dried flowers, the wine is full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with juicy acids and a concentrated, tightly-coiled core that's framed by powdery tannin. It will reward a bit of bottle age. »
